As pre-production with RAUSCH ALBUM #2 forges ahead, we feel the timing right to put out one big collective Heads Up. As most of you know, all guitar functions to date (well, 81%) - both studio & live - have been handled by several of our good friends in progressive rock's Shadow Gallery and while this next album will also feature some very special guests, we must now come to terms with the fact that, alas, permanently kidnapping them for our very own would admittedly be a little NO FAIR...

Thus, RAUSCH now begins an epic search for a more "permanent" lead guitarist we can call our own. As these are no easy shoes to fill, we are hereby reaching out: should you be responsible for a referral leading to the right fit, you will enjoy one (1) complimentary signed copy of RAUSCH ALBUM #2 [a $100,000 value] and an indisputably secured position in MUSIC HISTORY.

Here's to NOT LETTING IT DIE in 2013!

It's been a long time coming, but at long last, behold!

At the end of last year, we played a series of small club dates. The goal was to rev up the engines, get all the kinks out, and by the holidays, get something out on film for all you international non-a**holes of the world who were as of yet unable to experience NOT-LETTING-IT-DIE in the flesh (or, if you were in the crowd, give you an opportunity to say "Hey I was there!"); as you may have noticed, however, the latter had not yet occurred.

Among those who attended our concert in Philadelphia were 3 members of Shadow Gallery (that's good!), a legion of non-a**holes who had traveled from as far as Italy & LA (that's very good!), and Murphy's Law (that's not quite as good). Due to some heartbreaking... "technical difficulties," let's just say... a very painful decision was subsequently made to scrap the footage from a musically triumphant evening and book a redo. With a change of venue, the loud sweaty rock club video gave way to a more "theatrical presentation-style" piece; the required time and money to complete the project turned into "the required time and money X 2"; and "Merry Christmas" instead became "Happy Easter."

Well... Happy Easter!

Are you ready for a new RAUSCH album?

Well so are we....

And rest assured, I am personally at the top of a hypothetical list of those who are uncontrollably impatient to hear it...

...so in that case, I suppose perhaps I should begin it.

The songs are there, now it's just a matter of returning to Ye Olde Recording Studio (or, to be more precise, Ye New Recording Studio, as yours truly has just made significant investments into upgrading for ALBUM #2) and getting to work.

First thing's first, however: we are hard at work preparing a little video for you, so you can FINALLY have a little taste of RAUSCH in LIVE MODE - if you weren't able to make it to any of the first run of shows - and Youtube shall be RAUSCH-less no more!

2012 is going to be a crazy year in the land of RAUSCH... just so long as it kicks the $#*t out of the dead and buried wreckage of 2011, that's all I ask.

To all non-a**holes of the world!

The sincerely overwhelming turnout to the Grand Debut of RAUSCH LIVE [including representation from no less than 3 continents & 3 VIP attendees from progressive-rock juggernaut Shadow Gallery] has triggered an influx of new opportunities to keep the CAMPAIGN to NOT LET IT DIE forging ahead. Please prepare your November schedules accordingly:

A Double-Shot of RAUSCH

A) Tuesday November 15th: An evening at The Legendary Dobbs in Philadelphia, PA, courtesy of Inside Out Music. The evening will showcase a legion of like-minded acts, featuring Inside Out artist Jolly. This is a big night for us - RAUSCH has secured the prime 10PM spot!

B) Sunday November 20th: Equally significant is your requested presence at the place where it all began, hometown venue Puck in Doylestown, PA. RAUSCH triumphantly returns home with full band - and a conveniently early[-ish] Sunday start-time of 7PM to allow ample mingle-time after the show!
