"GOOD DAY" released! Get thee to iTunes and support the CAMPAIGN TO NOT LET IT DIE:

...And here, behold! The very first official music video of RAUSCH, directed by our good good friends in NYC's JOLLY:

Well, it wasn't easy - they say nothing worthwhile ever is, right? - but this past year pulled RAUSCH out of the darkness. Rome wasn't built in a day, and MUSIC HISTORY sure as sh*t can't save itself in a year. But things are looking up.

We're very excited to discuss our return to the stage - and next full-length ALBUM - in just a few short months, but for now just try to have a GOOD DAY, ok?

"Good Day" Credits:
written by Doug Rausch
produced by David Ivory
mixed by Rich Mouser
mastered by Vlado Meller

Bass: Joe Fine
Drums: Steve Lerro
Lead Guitar & Solo: Gary Wehrkamp of Shadow Gallery

Everything else: Doug RAUSCH

Calling all non-a**holes of the world:

Don't call us superstitious but... Friday, August 22nd is the 34th anniversary of Queen releasing #1 mega-hit "Another One Bites the Dust"; therefore we thought that would be a good day to debut our very first official music video for brand new RAUSCH single: "Good Day."

Directed by our good friends in NYC's JOLLY, this video is something we are extremely proud of, and hope that YOU, noble non-a**hole, can show it the love, attention, soil, sunlight, water, two (2) frozen burritos, milk, and one (1) giant cake it so greatly deserves. REMEMBER: Music History still hasn't found a way to save itself, we're afraid…..

As for the release of "Good Day" itself? Why, you'll just have to wait until Freddie Mercury's birthday for that. "On the first light of the fifth day [of September], at dawn look to the east" (or iTunes. Hey, what do you want, Gandalf didn't have iTunes).

Good Day!

With NEW RAUSCH MUSIC just around the corner, it's high time for an update. Life happens when making other plans, and we sure didn't plan on spending the better part of the past 2 years in darkness. As this is neither the time nor the place to elaborate on the past (which we now want nothing more than to bury), for now let us simply leave it at 'we were…. delayed.'

On the flip-side, never before has so much come together all at once, so to cut to the chase: By now many of you know we have joined forces with Grammy-nominated record producer David Ivory (Halestorm, The Roots) for a soon-to-be-released featured track. You may or may not also know we have teamed up with our good friends in NYC's JOLLY to direct our very first official music video. We are extremely proud of it, by the way, and can't wait for you to see! All the while, ALBUM 2 is well on its way (featuring some quite prominent guest appearances, we might add) to a 2015 release.

With all the dust settled, the net missing puzzle piece as I write these words in late summer 2014 pertains solely to our missing drummer. Soooo much has happened since the last time we triumphantly took the stage with Gino, but the bottom line is we are actively auditioning drummers so that we may once again resume NOT LETTING IT DIE on a stage near you. If you know (or ARE) someone who just might fit the bill, we welcome all inquiries to email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

RAUSCH is BACK! Thanks for hanging in there :)
